Freelancer @Die Mobiliar
This project digitized the insurance closing process, enabling seamless online handling—from quote generation to contract confirmation. In my role as a Fullstack Developer, I modernized the existing NX monorepo, developed new Angular applications with SignalStore, and successfully migrated existing applications to the cloud. For quality assurance and stability, modern tools such as Jest, Playwright, and Docker were used. These measures made the platform more robust, scalable, and maintainable long-term. On the backend, I worked with Java and Kotlin, ensuring technical reliability through tests with JUnit and Cucumber.

Senior Software Engineer
Freelancer @SRF Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen
For the SRF Mediathek (Play), a streaming platform with live streams, videos, and other functions for all language regions of Switzerland, I worked with the team to develop a central codebase that flexibly reflects regional specificities. In addition, we designed and implemented a multi-tenant CMS that allows content to be managed and curated specifically for various websites, apps, and tvOS. I made a key contribution by independently developing an image service that significantly reduces client loading times, provides modern image formats, and delivers dynamically adjusted resolutions. Furthermore, I was involved in the implementation of an integration layer that consolidates and standardizes data from different systems, thereby creating a reliable, central data basis for all platforms.

- Migrated a JavaScript application to TypeScript
- Used Storybook for isolated development of consistent and reusable UI components
- Considered accessibility, SEO, and user-friendly UX across multiple languages
- Implemented a CMS with automated content control, permissions management, and metadata handling
- Developed an integration layer with Kotlin/Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres
- Built an image service using AWS and Rokka to optimize load times and image quality
- Ensured quality through PaaS usage, test link generation, and various testing methods
- Mentored one apprentice per year during their final year
